yeah, but that has a window light, the camaro came with a third brake light just under the wing, attached to it, as a matter of fact. The second wing-mounted third brake light is what's tacky.

toko your radar detector need a "clear" view through your back window for your full 360 degree radar to work...
its probably less then 180 where its at...
dont know if you care but it fits above the rear view mirror...
that actually wouldnt be a good place either if u want optimum performance. they say the direct middle of your windshield is the best because:
-too high, the sun reflects off the hood of your car and bounces up and effs with the radar (forget where i read this)
-if you have a tint strip up top that will lower your radars range and block your gps (9500i owners)
-you wont detect laser b/c cops aim for headlights and liscence plates down low (not that it would matter anyway kuz ure effed as soo as your hit (unless you have a laser jammer haha wink wink))
-or if your driving through DC or VA where radar detectors are illegal and you have yours clearly visible (cord)
-too low and it lowers your radar's effective range, front and back (better for laser(not that it matters))
i find low is the way for me, it doesnt leave that cord hangin in your face, if your going fast enough you dont have to worry about a cop rollin up behind you shootin radar, if you have one of the better radars you get a pretty damn good effective range anyway (including behind you)
-good for driving through states where they're illegal (and your radar has RDD immunity)
but the center of the windhsield is recommended
and yeah ive seen the same problem with the escort passport 8500 giving false alerts when punching the gas, the radar will scream laser

yea im not saying its rendered completely innaffective depending on its mounting location, just talking about its range. like i said, i let mine chill on my dash.

Those rims are just too gaudy, they're not really rice.
