My friend that works at honda told me that they got four civic sedans today that will go on sale tomorrow. He said that they have a Ex sedan with navi starting at 21,000. I think that is rediculous for a civic IMO.

I don't know if it will sell in other places but there are a lot of crazy folks in Cali. The engine is stronger, and it gets BETTER gas-mileage than the current Civic. It also comes with more features standard and has a NAV. I hope they don't stay at that price, but I know some idiot will buy it ASAP. It is practically a mini-accord now.

if its the same engine then yea i would, less weight without having everything power and the not having the sunroof saves weight but still, is it normal for the sedan and coupe to pretty much cost the same thing? are they not keeping the vp?
They tend to price the same depending on features. Coupes tend to be a little pricier, but how much depends on the market and options available.
Example: A Civic coupe/sedan would be a lot closer than a 330 Ci/i because dealers tend to load 330Ci's with a ton of options, but even without it there already is a $2000 difference. Civics and other cars have a difference in the hundreds because they are more common.
