last time i asked this question a member said he had it, and the greatest thing about was it improved his gas milage to like 450 or so, so pay 2 grand now save it in gas i guess. but try searching for that thread i cant remember the user who has the jmo torque converter and was telling me about it

you could pay 2gs more for a hybrid and get a warranty
heres a stupid question. what would happen if u drained the fluid, or...a lot of it, from the convertor to lighten it up. would it be like...a lightweight flywheel?

are you fuking kidding? first off you can drain the fluid from the torque converter, it has to be sucked out. Second fluid is in there for a reason, lubrication. But sure go ahead and take some out and let us know after a week how much the dealer rapes you for a new one.

has anyone ever got anything from levelten? they have trannys and torque converters for our cars but they dont seem to want my business.
i am boostin and i need somethin to pump up my tranny. i heard it would be like 5k to do the mt swap. anyone done this or maybe have a better number on how much it will cost?
hmm... i wonder if that it whats wrong with my auto. when i filled the auto tranny fluid it ran great! but then after a while it starts to shift hella funny. it shifts way too early. everything is fine when i shift it myself.
man i wrote this really good reply and 7thgen screwed up so now you get the short version....
definatly check the fluid that can cause what your saying ...... but also on my truck there is a transmission linkage(i dont know how your auto controls pressure in the tranny) basically its a cable from the throttle body to the tranny that controls pressure on mine theres a clip you can take off and adjust by adjusting this you can change the firmness/timing of your shifts. Slack=early soft and tight = firm late
