JDM means Japanese Domestic Market. Honda relates to JDM because it is a car manufacturer in Japan.

yah, i didn't figure, i was just looking around, and see all these sites, projdm.com, jdmshit.com, yada yada yada, and was just wondering what jdm was...thanks for the info though

Yeah JDM (japan domistic marketing) and for your info guys there is a JDM 01 civic but it's called feriro it's a europe thing but not to much things are on there hahahah......

Actually the civic sedan in japan is part of the civic ferio line. always was. The civic sedan in europe is called the civic saloon or just civic. Those are not jdm cars well.. becuase they are not part the japanese domestic market. only cars qualified to be jdm cars are cars made for the japanese market, but of course you could buy a jdm spec car in other countries, but they still dont qualify as jdm cars.

Mugen was one of the original tuners for Honda Race cars.

I believe it started with a 88 CRX for road racing and everything grew from there.
