True...I could probably afford an EVO or an STi, but I'm happy with my vic for now; there's so many things I like about it...Civics are the best cars in the world!

IC stands for integraded circuit...come on guy! you are living in a country that owns the silicon valley and various high company in the world!
another thing, what is running lean? people say that turbo make your car run lean. does it mean that the car runs lean to the side, like an allignment problem?
Confirmed on 2006 Civic EX/LX
- car appears wider
- 16 inch rims with possible 17 inch as an option
- higher luxury than current Civics
- new 2-tier gauges
Questions
- HID’s – standard or available as an option?
- Shifter – regular placement or like up like on current Civic Si Hatch?
- Leather – standard or available as an option?
- Navigation system – standard or available as an option?
- Interior luxury level – how does it compare to RSX interior?
- Guages
– are they all digital?
- what color are they?
– if the speedometer protrudes up above dash does it impede your
vision or road at all?
- Tires – brand?
- Rear seats – do they fold down to give access to trunk?
It would be GREATLY appreciated if you can answer questions and if not, whether it is impossible to get that info for now (so we dont keep asking of those things.) Thanks!

i work at the honda plant that builds the civics, elements and now the accords. i have seen the new civic and the only thing i can say about it, is that it is SWEET! not much is the same as the previous years. almost everything is different. dash is bad@ss. it should be coming out for sale by august this year. you should see some pics of it in the near future.

Thats when the standard Civic models go on sale like the LX and EX. The Si and most possibly Hybrids will come out at a later date. The good news from this is that we will get to see the interior and bodystyle sooner. The only thing different on the Si will be the rims/tires, engine/tranny and bodykit. And other than a few other interior changes we will have a great idea of the SI when they release the first production pics of the regular civics.
Damn, if half of this stuff is correct and the price isnt much higher, our `04 EX-SE will be traded in...
Especially before our Resale goes down the tube because of the new cars...
Friend of mine picked up an `00 SI w/ 4X,XXX miles for under 10g's, I thought that was really cheap for an almost $20g car 5 years ago... hopefully they will be out by Feb. `06, then our EX-SE will be 2 years old, er two years paid off I mean...
I dunno, if they offer a white ex sedan with dark interior and navi, thats what the wiffee will want...
Her first honda was a whte `94 dx sedan, we would have bought a white ex sedan if it had black interior, dx and lx have black interior but ex has tan?????????? So her second choice was a red coupe. Bought herself a red car on valentines day...
ok, i'm back again. not sure about all the ?'s you all have asked, but here goes. navi is an option. hids are 50/50 right now. they're working that option out. leather is an option. most everything is an option as of now. gauges aren't all digital and they don't get in your way. back seats do fold down. and they are weighing a couple different tire brands right now. and what i meant to say is that WE start building these in august and have the option to buy shortly after. brembo brakes are only on the si. and last but not least. ktune, if i don't know, you surely don't know. i am an assembly coordinator there and won't even let us have access to it yet. so that's all i have for now. if you all could do me one favor though, instead of speculating and guessing and makind false rumors, just ask me. i will tell you what i know. i think you all know that by now. later
