Would it be possible that someone already has the new Si?? or at least is driving it??
I know you guys would be like WTF?? but, my friend here at work says he saw this old man with a tie(maybe a corporate rich man/ or maybe one of the district managers of Honda) driving the new Si on US1 down here in Miami!! At first I thought he was just pulling my leg, but he described the car exactly as it is. My buddy is into American cars, but from the description he gave me, it had to be the Si. He mentioned the glass roof, almost no trunk and its small wing, blacked out headlighs, big rims and on top of that the HONDA emblem...could this be possible?? Man if it was the Si, I missed a great sight! I wonder if someone with enough money could already have this car. Yall know the saying: Money talks, bullshit walks!

I dont think he owns it but I think manufacturers give the new cars to some of the bigwigs within the company to "test" in a real world environment. I dont doubt that your friend may have seen a real production version...well, maybe not the final prodcution version as I dont see us getting tinted headlights and the glass roof. I do thing they are being manufactured right now or soon and I think there are some driveable versions floating around somewhere to give sort of a "short term" driveability test. Like to test how comfortable the seats are and how loud the cabin is....that sort of thing.
another thing, what is running lean? people say that turbo make your car run lean. does it mean that the car runs lean to the side, like an allignment problem?
^^^Yeah that makes sense I guess...I wish I was the one testing that baby...
I forgot to mention that my friend while riding the Metro Rail got a peek at the seats from up top. From the looks of it, it really seems like we are getting the glass roof. I asked him if he was able to see some of the interior, but all he saw was the seats, leather looking and gray in color. Gray? Hmmm, I don't know bout that...I hate uncertainty...

I just got back from the auto show and the new SI looks so good in person. the only thing that was pissin' me off was that i knew there wasn't an engine under that hood. I can't wait until the full working one is out.
^^ much better than the tc but if you notice, thats the new thing. Look at the Nissan Azeal concept...sloped hatch-like trunk, Si concept.....same thing, and of course the tC....same thing.

ok I work for a company, partially owned by honda, we are constantly having meetings and so on...well 2 days ago, one of the BIG GUYS were here...well I was talking with one of them, who happens to be one of the head guys behind the new civic...and he was telling me that its gonna come with 200 hp...now u can't get more reliable source than that, and I highly doubt he was lying...he saw my car and we started talking and I mentioned the low hp numbers on our cars...and he was like, well next year that wont be an issue and thats when he told me...and yeah, a redesign, he said its gonna sexy...now what do u guys think this will do to the other companies in our cars catagory...I personally think they're all ****ed....if the civic comes out with 200hp and a leather option, and rear disks and so on...I think these companies will lose a lot of potential buyers"

it sounds friggin amazing... more throaty and deep than the stock type s... alot more. it reminds me of my bro's ITR that he had toda headers and spoon catback. can you guys imagine what that car would sound like w/out a cat. wooohooo
i hope they changed it so that the cat isnt part of the header now.
i don't understand how they can have a sound clip of the actual production motor when it wasn't even in the car at the auto show. i'm thinking it was just a sound clip from one of the k-series motors...k20a,a2,z1,etc...
