Wow...looks like they have some work to do. I think that they left the "goods" out of the car to keep em guessing. Obviously, someone went odwn low to find out whether it was a boy or a girl and they didnt want it to be known at this point. I dont thin that a 1.8 would be viable. Its all about cost saving now-a-days. They already made a variant of the 2.0 k20a2 now called the k20z or watever. I dont think they would introduce a new motor variant for a dying car (rsx). I think that the 05 rsx-s was sporting this new motor as kind of a real-world test. And before people say that the k20z is a k20a2 with different mounts and such....There is a bit more different with the z block or all the a2 parts would work on the z block. Anyways, most of the motor is the same from the k20a2 to the k20z and I think that we are likely to see the k20z block breathing life into the civic si. That does beg the question "What motor will be in the ex?" Could be a detuned k20z or a k20a3 I guess.
another thing, what is running lean? people say that turbo make your car run lean. does it mean that the car runs lean to the side, like an allignment problem?
Fans, I am from Panama, Central America. Here the Fitt or Jazz model, has a market down here for a couple of years. Is a economicar car. A part of the RSX is not sells here, the civic is very popular here. A second hand RSX fom US is about 20.000 USD. And we only have 5 of them. The 7th gen Si HB does not have market here. PRICE! The last config from Si is the VTI 4 doors, from JAPAN up to 2000, and we have a couple id SI HB. (OEM). The Fitt is a nice car, also to drive. For the production 06 civic, for the specs that i see, is going to be expensive here. The same specs can be find for less price. But one thing that i know, I want one.
yeah..definately no glass roof....I can't imagine that's even legal with todays crash test standards.
Scion tC has a full-glass roof (well, about 95% or so).

so what is the next date to look forward to is it SEMA? that we will see something closer to what we will see on the streets, or will there be things bascially released from now on?
Sorry bro....its just slightly hard to understand you.
Anyways, SEMA is the next important date and that is in mid November I think. I think its also being hosted in Vegas and this is the world debut of the production 2006 Civic SI
