I don't like the new headlights or taillights. I love that they made them with black housings though. I don't like the gauges. I also don't like that black strip on the back bumper. The A-Spec package is ugly. I do love those 17' wheels, I might sell my aftermarket rims so I can get those, well when the price goes down. The car does look a little more aggresive which is good.

I test drove the 05 and it does handle better than my 02, well when my 02 was stock. According to my butt dyno, they accel just about the same with the 05 maybe a tad bit faster, of course I'm talking about being stock. The leather is definitely better than my 02 and the seats are also more comfortable. There is definitely good improvements in the 05 but its not enough to justify me trading in my 02 for one. If I didn't have an RSX I would definitely get the 05 in that blaze orange color, I just love that damn color.

I kinda like the new 05's. Not feelin the taillights though. There was an 05 (first one in Hawaii) at one of our recent cruises. It looks really good in person. It was in NBP. I really like the 17' wheels. The new colors are nice too. Really wish magnesium metallic was available back when I bought my car.

DaPipeLayer, how heavy are your rims now? The 17's on the 05 Type S are 21 lbs each. Not the best choice if you're into performance. But I do like the way it looks though.

nindoo has a spectacular aura about nindoo has a spectacular aura about
Final drive is shorter than previous model.

rear sway bar is thicker.

stiffer springs and shocks, inch lower.

more agressive cams

catalic(or however you spell it) and exhaust are more free flowing.

Aren't the 16 on the the previous RSX heavy? Even the EX rims on the 2002 weigh 19 lbs which are 15 by 6(I think).

The front sway bar is also thicker. The car being lowered by an inch is only with the A-Spec suspension. The 05 stock Type S height is the same as the 02-04 models. The 16" wheels on the 02-04 model RSX weigh about 16 lbs each without the tire.

05 BOM with Mugen Lip kit is sick. You need to test drive one before you bash the 05. The headlights are fine... The thing that bothers me is the rear tails and bumper. It just doesn't flow well stock wise. ...But with the Mugen Lip kit all around, it is def. an amazing car!

I don't know how heavy they are, they are Motegi Racing 6 spoked, gunmetal with polished lip. They might be just as heavy as those 17s or maybe more? I did notice a slightly slower acceleration with my rims from a dead stop but from a roll I didn't really notice anything.
