Received an interesting call from honda this past weekend.... So here I am just hangin around the house this past saturday, when all of the sudden the phone rings and I answer it.....
Me: Hello.....
Honda Sales Rep.: Hi, this is so-and-so calling from Honda Motor Corporation and this is regarding your 2002 Honda Civic EX coupe.
Me: Ok, is there some sort of recall or something???.....
Honda Sales Rep.: No, no, this is just regarding your warranty on your Civic. From our records, It looks like your warranty is coming to a close soon and we were just calling to see if you were interested in an extension to your warranty.
(At this point, I figure Id mess with him
)
Me: Oh, Im very interested in getting an extension to my warranty, but I just have one question for you.... I have made some minor modifications to the car. As long as Honda will cover them in the warranty, I have no problems signing an extension. (I figure its worth a shot)
Honda Sales Rep: Ah, please hold on Sir. I have to check with manager on this one.... About 5 minutes later, his manager gets on the phone.
Honda Sales Rep's Manager: Hello sir, I was told that you have made some minor modifications to the car, what modifications have you made exactly?
Me: Well the car is pretty much stock, except for K20A Integra Type R engine thats under the hood, the custom turb........
At this point all I hear from the Sales Rep's Manager as he proceeds to cut me off there is....
Honda Sales Rep's Manager: Thank you......
Click.....
I was laughing for good 5 minutes after that.....Just thought Id share that story.

.. funny story though hehe.how much did u pay for the k20 swap + labor? im thinkin of doin same.. and turbo after a while... did u dyno it yet? if so numbers?
