i plan on trading my Civic for the Tc...i've been waiting like everybody else for the arrival for this Car...but i've called six Scion Dealers and they all said that should be getting them sometime in July ...what pisses me off is that the official web of Scion it says June...so i guess i have to wait one more month...

yeah, i think that company is gonna own. cause of the performance per dollar ratio. you know like... ALOT : NOT A LOT. word. and it looks....aiiiiiiight. i'm sure in 3-5 years it will be more refined and an extra 5k more expensive...and it will look a lot better

tC = scion on 'roids... I'm feeling it performance wise.... Looks = Not so great
xA + xB = scion losers... can't stand these things... Too many in Cali and most of the owners around my area think they are the shiet with these cars!!

Scion was just recently launched in my neck of the woods... less than a couple of months ago. So a one month delay for a brand new vehicle that has been causing a lot of heads to turn before it goes on sale really doesn't seem that bad to me.
Engine's great, which is what a lot of the compact cars have been missing for a while. They've only recently been getting the kind of attention that the V6 engines are getting (by that I mean the constant raising in power and smoothness)

The Tc looks pretty cool. I would wait a few years before I bought one though, I don't think it's smart to buy a new car in it's first year. Of course in a few years, I hope that my career will be going well enough that I don't have to buy some 15k Toyota!
LOL you're complaining about not having the TC yet. In the midwest, we don't even have SCION yet. Anything. Nothing. I hadn't seen one on the road until I went on vacation over Easter.
That chopped one looks hoooooootttttttttt. The stock one doesn't do a whole lot for me.

Geez you make it seem like its been delayed for a year.
i originally plan to get one... until i saw it in person... the headlights looks like crap and the rear looks like every other car out there, in my opinion. 160hp 163tq 2905lb(5spd) is pretty daym heavy. i was hoping for the 0-60 to be atleast in the low to mid 7s but its in the 8s. everything is nice for the price but i dont like it... anymore. lots of cool features like low tire pressure indicator, oil change light, outside temp and other stuff. i plan on getting the xB instead.
If I ever buy one I'll be on all of those sites...
but it looks like I'll be sticking w/ the Civic for a while.

im already at a site. scionlife.com one big community there. i dont have to worry about going to a diff site to read in a diff forum. but ill check out tc-club.com
woah! i think i saw one of those yesterday! i couldnt really tell because i was down the street- but i do know that it had blinkers on the mirrors, maybe it was a mercedes of some sort??? it was the same color too! i didnt recognize the logo on back- so it must have been the scion one!
the car is probably coming out in june, but not all dealers get them at the same time. the dealers that sell most get them first. your dealer might not be one of them.
I wonder how long this car will maintain its value? Hondas maintain their value forever. You could sell a civic with 60,000 miles for 8,000-10,000 depending on options and the shape of the car. I wonder if the tc will have the same ability. I doubt it will be able to b/c it doesnt have the track record of the civics or any other honda which have been known to go 160,000 miles + without a problem. You gotta ask yourself if your going to trade value for performance and looks. Let me know what you think.
