aite so my frend just got his car fixed and its a 1992 buick Park ave v6.
he asks if i wanna race and i have a 2003 civic ex with aem sri. both our cars automatic btw. i did some research and found out info about the buick but not too sure about it.
V6 3.8L 170hp, ???torque (i think it has more torque then hp though). i tried finding out the weight cuz im pretty sure these model cars are heavy. but then i saw an article that theirs a supercharged verson of this buick park ave and thought maybe he had it =|
so what u guys think? park ave or the little vtec that can?

Was his car modded in any way? Otherwise, I honestly, I don't know who will win.

the park ave is bone stock. i only got a look at it from the outside, but not under the hood. but im pretty sure its bone stock because i dont think he would have the money to mod cars.
but i havent battled him yet.. ill see who wins though.
Granted the buick is a heavy car but those GM V6's do have some torque and they can actually move if you want them to. If all u have is an intake and an automatic to boot, you might wanna think twice about it because you might just end up gettin pulled on. lol Anyway, if you decide to do it, I hope you win, but dont get mad if you lose.
The supercharged version I think is called a Bonneville, i dunno how buicks work lol..3.8L V-6 that weighs about 4000 lbs.. not to be mean, but he'd prolly pull..
its 170 hp and 220 lbs.ft of torque in that 3.8 V6
and it weights 3536 lbs.. if it has half a decent gear ratio, it should be able to take your civic... although I'm still not sure on it.
and if he has the 205 hp, 260 lbs.ft supercharged version.. which really doens't look any different than the base i think.. you obviously wont be able to take him at all.
the supercharged version, does about mid 15s if I recall right.
That's the GM 3800 Series V6.. my friend has a firebird with that same motor (except the one with 200 HP -- Series II) and it destroyed my automatic civic every time. dont even expect to win
