Test drive in the S2000

Damn.. It was sweet. I took it out for about an hour or so and put it through the paces. When I took it back all you could smell were the brakes The car has great power however it was hard to get it to really break lose from a dead stop (a good think I guess) and I couldnt get it to squeel in going from first to second despite my hardest efforts. The suspension is good. It handels very well and seems to be well ballanced, maybe a bit soft if anything but great. The best thing on the car IMO were the brakes. The stop the car in a heart beat. All in all a GREAT car for the price. If you have the cash, buy one.. if you dont TEST DRIVE ONE.. You'll have a blast. Later

I've never ridden in the S2000 but I had a pretty decent driver take me for a spin in a Z3.

I have to say the roadsters are pretty cool! Handling seems superior in roadsters.

However, I prefer the S2000 based on looks over the Z3.
Unfortunately both these cars NEW are a little too rich for my blood.

Both are good cars...

Good friend of mine has an S2000 and I absolutely LOVE that 8900 redline, but there is not alot of power before 6000. My mom has a 3.0 Z3 and that thing is also sweet. I drive that quite often and I can honestly say I've beaten S2000's, but its close. I know the S2000 can beat the 2.8 Z3's tho.

Both are great cars, one is a Honda and one is a BMW so its kinda different markets almost.
