Alrite so i was driving home from the beach last nite and at a dealership i see a vette c5 which has about 350 hp and is a vette so its one of those american muscle symbols and the price listed was only $29,000, the first thing i thought was damn that pretty cheap for that much power and a vette, but i could be wrong?..so then i thought to myslef since my fav. car is the s2000 and iwant it so bad that the car costs $32,000 last time i checked and is about 240 hp.. so that costs more than the vette.. now i was wondering which would u get, the vette or the s2000. to me that one hard desicions cause i love both cars but the vette u get more hp outta but the s2000 is also one sik car.. i think i like the s2k but i still dunno.. so which would u get??

You can get a used s2000 for less than $32,000. I would get the s2000 if i was about 5 inches shorter. But i hate vettes because they are everywhere. Theres 4 in my neighborhood.
Stock Vs Stock the Corvette will out acclerate and out corner the S2000.
Its been said before, what do you want to do with the car?
pro Corvette: stock will out handle and out accelerate a stock S2000, engine has plenty of power all the way through the power band and chevy V8s are brain dead simple to work on.
Con Corvette... Tires will cost you a small fortune, Insurance will cost you a small frotune, and it will guzzle gas like no other.
Pro S2000: Its a honda, and so in theory should last about a Gazilion miles. It will get better gas milage then the corvette. Its a great handling car, fun for just about any thing.
Con S2000: Gearing is Horrible for a Daily driven car, Cant beat a stock C4 corvette on a road coures (Stock S2000, given equal drivers) Insurance is High, Theft is high, Every ricer in 50 miles will want to race you. Tires will be expensive, but not as much as the corvette.
Autocross: Because Life is more fun on three wheels......
"I know Solo only comes one minute at a time, but what an intense, non-stop, fast-forward car control exercise minute it is. Sure, the velocity is higher in road racing, but inside the car it is slow-motion in comparison. In Solo, the turns come like machine-gun rounds. "

I like the looks of the S2K more, but I've driven an '04 Vette and it was so sweet....I honestly don't know what I would pick, probably the Vette since I'm 6'2" and would have troubles fitting in the S2K.
Tough call indeed. Since we're talking about those two cars. The S2000 gets slightly better city gas mileage and it's also got a better interior. It's also a Honda so you know that it could stand the test of time. It's smaller and lighter too. The C5 however has the cool pop-up headlights, it also has 350hp stock! The potential is limitless.
So if you plan on spending a lot of money on the car than get the Corvette, otherwise get the S2k.

i'll go with the vette, always has been my fav. car. It gets good gas mileage for a v8 sports car, the reason the tires are expensive is because they are run-flats, my dad has a 2000 vette and i just love that car. I have always been a fan of corvettes and keep up with all the generations.
i would have to say the vette.
1. its an american idol
2. add a sick exhaust and u'll intimidate most drivers with a s2000
3. u can make it look like a touring car from the leman races.
