HI All;

I have an 02 civic ex and am considering a K20A# swap. Can anyone offer some input as to problems, things i may run into. I can get a K20A2 for about 7000 canadian installed. One shop wanted 15000 and said the drive shaft and blah blah blah needed upgrading.. any thoughts?

Check out the forced induction and swap forum. Drive shaft needed upgrading? Hondas dont have a drive shaft. We have cv joints that turn a front foward drive car. A drive shaft is for a rear drive car.

Thanks, First off i called a guy about a K20 Swap in Toronto and he started rambling about a drive shaft, i wasnt thinking none too clearly about this as Civics dont have one

I also didnt see the swap forum... but thanks all for the replies

Alright, here's the deal...I have the k20a swap in my 02 civic and believe me, it was more work and money then i had ever expected. There are many problems you will probably run into, as i did. I've spent around 11g's to do mine. And 2 months in the shop. If your seriously considering on doing this swap, im me on AIM and i'll tell you about it. My s/n is: SpoonCivic06.

I just called Luckystar in TO and they want 7Grand for the K20a 240 HP.. tooooo much..., Japanese-direct in Missauga (TO) wants 6500 plus tax... still too much... hopefully they will drop...

Still trying to get in touch with the dood above to get the skinny on his swap..
