Honda -- Mazda

Yo guys, i need an opinion..

i know it sounds stupid for some people though....hahaha

just at the time when i wanna buy a used car...i was confronted with 2 cars..

Honda Civic EX '02 with usual stuffs on it...
24k miles...

OR

Mazda Protege 5 '02 with fully loaded stuffs on it..
alloy, power everything, roof rack, leather with heat...
11k miles...

the civic is $11700 and the mazda is $13000..

now... u guys know what i picked, right (since i'm in this forum)? whaddya think?

for those who cared to read, what do you guys think about mazda protege 5's price few years from now? (with the appearance of the new Mazda 3 hatcback...)
