Hey
does our warranty cover us for our clutch and our breakpads?? I'm currently at about 26,000 miles, my breaks are screaching like crazy and my clutch doesn't feel smooth anymore on the release (i can even hear it sometimes). and yes.. i beat on my car a lot.. (and plus i live in a hilly air where i need my breaks a lot..)
thanks in advance
Axel

Yeah. Forget about the brakes, they aren't covered. The clutch might be if it's a factory defect, but good luck getting Honda to admit that, they are going to assume you beat on it and wont cover it. So. . . spend some extra $$$s and get upgraded brakes and clutch, you'll be happy. A little more broke, but happy. . heh

Especially if you bought an extended warranty, most dealers will just fix a clutch for nothing. It doesn't cost them a dime to do, they call it a defect and bill Honda for the work.
The brakes are definetly not covered. The guy who sold me my warranty said it covers "everything but brakes, belts, & tires". I'm sure that's some BS, but it definetly underscores that brakes are not covered.
If you're brakes are screeching bad you better get new pads wuick or you'll ruin your rotors. That's a difference between a $30 job and a $250 job.
Yeah I know for sure that the brakes are not covered but the Clutch you should be able to get fixed, just go in and be the nice guy, and then if that doesnt get you anywhere then if you start to be a prick they will eventually start to give in a bit, even if they help with the cost, its better than nothing.
no for both of them. when my clutch originally went, these said it was defeniatly not under warrenty because it is a part that undergoes contsant wear and tear.
