Question Help! Taking red away from Gauge!

I'm sorry fellas.

A long time ago I saw in a post that a member posted pics his gauges. He had a STOCK cluster with OEM black gauge faces. The only thing different was that the MPH numbers and tick marks were white! The rest of the stuff on the gauge faces were normal orange/red. I think it's in the galleries too, but I couldn't locate it in there.

Let me repeat to lessen the chance of flame. His gauge faces = STOCK. NOT INDIGLO, NOT AFTERMARKET.

It's sort of what Impulse did to the buttons and stuff on his head unit panel:

Impulse switched the stock red/orange bulbs behind the panel, to blue led bulbs.

I want to know if that member did the same thing. I have searched. Any help would be great. Thanks.

My 01 lx came with white /greenish tint lights everywhere. The only thing red was my guage needles. It all depends on which guage cluster you have. To get rid of the red you just simply remove the red "gels" that are covering the LED's. Then they will light up white.

2001 sedans have the black face/white numbers clusters. I forget what color the AC & radio controls are.

Thanks fellas I found it in the galleries:

Norrinrad

I'm going to try it out. But I'm going to find a blue gel to keep it from being yellowish after taking the red gel out. Thanks
