Its when the tires spin a little when you put it into 2nd because the revs are still high, and your dropping the clutch to get it into gear faster. So there for the tires try to catch up to the engine so they spin and make a lil chirp. To remove this ad, register today for free or log in if already registered!

Hell, manual every time. Anyone even remotely interested in driving would say the same. There is NO fun in driving an auto. Heel/toe FTW!

love my manual tranny. IMO you haven't had the complete experience of vtec if you're pushing auto.

Haha VTEC is nothing in our cars. You cannot even feel it in the manual. Either way the car is still slow, that is why I upgraded to another 5 speed (04 WRX).

Manual, requires driver to know how to control the vehicle, plus automatics just take the fun out of driving.

i luv my auto, and i will argue for it. Yeah manuals are fun but in the long run i think that an auto is better for me. For me! not for everyone else but yeah imo i love em. Middle of the road would be my fav tho, slapstick hehe.

Manual here

Ups: I can drop to the needed gear when I want higher rpm's

Downs: bumper to bumper traffic sucka, and causes clutch foot pain.

<= Manual for me...I love the feeling of having more control over the car, and it makes driving up and down windy mountain roads much more exciting.

Used to drive an automatic, I'd get really bored sitting in traffic with nothing to do but rest my foot on the brake. Now I've got an Manual 04' EX.

but big deal, im a lazy ass.. and this makes my life easier... so i dunno

if i were to get a sporty car in the future, id probably go with a sequential manual if i had the opportunity

thats not necessarily true. my friend and i went to milan dragway in michigan and did time trials. hes got a 02 5 speed manny w/ intake and exhaust , mine is 02 bont stock auto and he beat me by .2 of a second. ( 17.2 to 17.4)
