differences? uhh...well for one i think that it would be a lot easier to find an Evo 8 rather than 7 considering theyre newer. but id just go with an RX8
The EVO 7 and EVO 8 are almost identical. It's just that the "US" version of the EVO 7 is called the EVO 8. The only other real difference is the EVO 8 has slightly better traction system.
And why would you be looking at an RX8 vs an EVO8? the EVO8 and RX8 are in completely different classes.
It's like saying I'm looking at either a yugo or a cobra.
well your first post was wrong, and so was your second hondaluver. have you ever heard of an evo 8? i sure have, i know i damn well they brought them to the US. where the hell have you been?

why would mitsubishi change the # of the evo 7 to evo 8 just because it's a usdm? are you saying that the next evo in japan will be evo9? i don't think so...
I read somewhere a long time ago that they only made 10,000 of each version. Then they have to make enough upgrades to consider it a "new" version. It's a self-imposed rule thing. I know they had an EVO 6 and an EVO 6.5, because they came out in the same year. I'm not sure if they still follow that rule though.

Uh, the next evo released will either be the evo9 in japan, or it will be THEIR version of the Evo 8.
Does ANYONE bother to read my damn post about how the EVO 8 IS DIFFERENT THAN THE EVO 7? WTF?
They didn't just rename it because it was the usdm version.
