NH Inspection Laws Suck Azzzzz!!!

[vent] I just got back from having my car inspected and it failed for 3 reasons:
1. Clear Headlights
2. Exhaust dcb
3. Clear Liscense plate frames (covers)

Are you f'n serious??!!!
First off, if my headlights were so illegal, why is it that everyone else I see driving around here has a new inspection sticker and the same headlight look (clear)? WTF?! Now I must go get amber bulbs...
2nd, My exhaust is too loud? What a joke... My stealth exhaust is probably the quietest around my area... Too loud my azzz!
3rd.. (This one is retarded) It's supposedly a law to have lisecense plate covers here in NH... Even clear ones.. Am I in the deep country or what! I swear, I need to to leave NH...!!!!!!!!!!![/vent]

Well, I'm off to Pep boys to get some bulbs...

1 and 3 are pretty minor. What are you going to do about number 2? Did you know that you can go to another place and if they pass you you won't have to pay that fee? You can also go back to the place you went first and they will pass you if you fix all of those things. MA laws are probably just as strict. Wait a moment, I thought you lived in MA? Oh, maybe you just work there?

Yeah, I just work in MA...
I'm not gonna worry about #2, there is no way in hell a Thermal R&D exhaust is too loud...
I actually didn't pay for the original inspection because thewy had me there over an hour, initially for an oil change; but when I brought to their attention I was there for for an inspection as well, they didn't charge me. I'm gonna correct what they failed and take it back. Maybe I can get some one new and lie a lil bit and get a passing inspection for free...

I already took off my frames..and went out last night and got colored bulbs..

Grey since you're tech minded here's a question for you..

I know that the bulb for the front turn signal is 7443, do you think a 7440 will fit and work properly?

It would fit in the socket, but I'm not sure that it would work properly. The 7443 is a dual filament bulb and the 7440 is a single filament bulb. If you'll notice, our blinkers light up when we have our parking lights on (I think?). Then they light up a lot brighter when we have the turn signals on. I think the dual filaments allow for this, although I'm not sure?

I tried that and the bulbs came out silver instead of chrome. What kind of paint did you use?
