<< I went there too for a while - pretty nice place, and despite what everyone says, Orchard Hill rocks! And you can't get a good calzone out in Boston...DP Dough ownz me! There's one in Springfield so I hear

Orchard Hill does rock! Some of the best dorm parties have been there (mostly the ones I've had in my room). Central had good parties too, especially the rooms where you could climb into windows.

And you're right about not being able to get good calzones in Boston. There are places in Boston that think they're cool because they have 10 varieties of calzones. PUH-LEEZZZ!! No place can compare with D.P. Dough and Pinnochio's (over 30 varieties at each place). If those places were in Boston they'd do such a business! (I'm so hungry for one of those calzones now -- perhaps I'll jump in my HX and cruise 1.5 hours out there to get my fill...)

It would definitely be worth it! Have you been back recently? There have been a lot of changes in the area...

<< Amherst is cool. I went to UMass out there. If anyone is planning a meet out there, I'd be more than up for it. They've got some awesome calzone places out there... (YUM!) >>

TwilightX, I visited UMass last Fall and went to a UMass-Temple basketball game there. That match-up isn't what it used to be. I've noticed some changes but not too many big ones. I graduated in 1998.

Krepoort, Bowl Wars do rule. I had so much fun with those ("Webster sucks!", "Grayson blows!"). My fave calzone is from Pinnochio's: The Texan (chicken, steak, bacon, cheese, and barbecue sauce!).

Maybe in a couple weeks a couple of us 7th Gen Civic owners/UMass graduates can cruise by Amherst. We'll have to drive by the horseshoe at Southwest to check out the hotties laying out there. Awww yeah!

Heheheh....ah, the old bowl wars. Man I miss those days! Always had to fight to keep the lounges open...

I'd be up for a drive out there anytime - I love that area, really scenic!

krepoort: What fires? What fireworks? Who was throwing fruit??? I have no idea what you're talking about! I'd *never* be stormtrooping around during the school week!

astr033: Yeah, not too different, although I would've loved to have a Wendy's near the mall when I was there! But thank God for Wings...that place kept me alive for the last couple of semesters!

I helped create a "Fruit Bowl" once. I was a dumb freshman and went around with some other guys collecting fruit all throughout OH. Then we went to a 7th floor balcony and proceeded to create the Fruit Bowl. The squirrels sure had a feast the next day and Webster was covered in oranges and bananas! Ah, the dumb things we do.

So when did you guys go to UMass? I may be out there soon for a Guster concert at the Mullins Center. I don't know when it is. Maybe we could meet up afterwards. I'll keep you posted...

anyways it was still awesome

seabass771: lol, sounds cool...

astr033: I was there from 97 to 00 - Lived in Dson (why the heck can't I say the name of my dorm???) and in the same room for all three years But it was always a good time! I knew a lot of people from Webster, so if you were there, chances are we'll know some people!

Krepoort and I were little terrors on the weekends...but that was never proven

Krepoort and TwilightX: I lived on 2nd floor Dckinson from Fall '95 to Spring '98 (I was in Field from Fall '94 to Spring '95). So it looks like you were froshes when I was a senior. I had a pretty tame senior year (spent most my time working and studying). If you knew anyone on 2Dck '97-'98 then chances are we knew the same people. I think I knew some people up on 7Dck. Was there a petite hottie Indian chick up there?

Seabass771: Sounds like a good idea. I think I'd just do some watching at the turnpike. My car is totally stock, so no racing for me!

EDIT: I think this is crazy that I can't say the name of my dorm (Dckinson) because it contains four consecutive letters that spell out a part of the male anatomy. This is a case of censoring gone a bit too far. Our dorm was named after the great poet Emily Dckinson and it's not something that should be censored! Hmm, possibly there was a girl you're talking about on our floor...it's been so long and I saw so many faces being in Room 716 for three years. I went through 3 roommates (one tried to kill me my last year there).

If I remember correctly, did you have a really skinny blonde on your floor named Tara, or a guy named Jake? I'm not sure if they were on the second or third floor...we people on the higher floors rarely came down there - it was taboo! j/k

That's so weird that we all lived in the same dorm...

i wouldnt do much racing at the pike either, im running bone stock, other than window tint and a strut brace, but that doesnt help much with racing.
