btw, people said this a month or two ago and importpassion was started. Some people were banned there and are now on a new site. In a few months there will be another, then another, then another...
cause it just creates an area for people to whine about the change.
oh all right, just for the record I didn't want it to be that way... I think few members were informed about the change and I was just wondering who the site would encompass
and kev, just because they change the format, I wouldn't completely abandon the site. It still has plenty of useful info to be used, it's just in an unfamiliar format...
I wanna stay here, but I dunno about the site any more b/c a lot of the people that know their stuff don't post here any more, I'm all for helpin folks out, but I think a lot of us got put out by the new owners changing the entire site w/o talking to the members at all first.... I think that's what everyone's so pissed about.
Kev, I can relate. The new owners have an agenda and are sticking with it. And you bring up another good point about the knowledgable people leaving. Thing is, if there are just threads everywhere complaining (not your thread, just in general) then those knowledgable people have no reason to come back.
We are not "whining" about the change. Most of us still on here are just plain disgusted that a great forum has been killed(ie;f'ed up).
With all due respect pon, a thread filled with "I'm leaving 7thgen because the site sucks now" is whining. Wouldn't you agree?
Now threads in the site questions forum asking legit questions or offering legit concerns, I am for. Ironically, one recently banned member posted a very constructive criticism in the admin worklog that was well spoken, not whining.
