oem fogs

i got some fogs off ebay but wanted to have a shop to install them. i tried a few shops today and they said they dont deal with stuff like that. any ideas where i could go to get it done. i need soem help with this. To remove this ad, register today for free or log in if already registered!

What type of shops are you calling? I would think just about any automotive service place would do it. Should be an hours labor plus any misc. parts like connectors or wire.

me and my friend are gonna put the fogs on tomorrow. he told me its real easy. will we be able to wire them so that they go on with my the parking lights?

yup just tap the trigger wire for the relay into the parking light power line. VIP and Autozone wouldnt do that type of work, you would have to call an independent garage.

I have read in a few places that the oem fogs for teh 04-05 don't put out much light at all and that the lenses crack easily. Anyone know if the lights put out decent output or are as brittle as poeple say?

fog lights arent designed to put out a lot of light, they are designed to supplement headlights in foggy and rainy conditions by using special lenses to reduce the glare.

If you want a good light get Hella Driving Lamps...they are like $70 and are twice as bright and go twice as far as our OEM highbeams. Don't look quite as good, but if you're buying foglights to look cool, you got issues

i finally got then on and working. the harness that came with them was all messed up so i had do put in a few new wires and use a diffrent switch.
