places to go in florida?

I am coming to Florida the last week in Feb and I was wondering if there are any meets or any nights where people get together somewhere to show off their cars. Thanks for your help. Oh and I will be around the Tampa area but willing to go anywhere within driving distance of there.

There is about 6 or 7 of us in Tampa but we don't ever meet anywhere.......................They have big meets over in orlando tho.

There's street races still every Saturday night I think... Orlando Tampa and Miami have pretty big ones. Is that what kind of thing you want to see? Or like shows and car meets?

street races are good too. I'm just looking to see some nice cars. I live in a small town up north so there aren't to many nice cars around so I jump on any opportunity i can see some nice cars.

I live in Sarasota.....they have Street Races up in Bradenton and several car clubs in town.

I live in Lakeland (15-30 min from tampa, depending on how fast u drive) and go to the races in Tampa on Saturday nights sometimes. It's a lot of fun, a total rush, especially if you have never been. Meet at Gandy Bridge at midnight, so look it up on mapquest or something. What days are you coming?

alright you wanna see races saturday night gandy road on the tampa side go to the shell station at 11:30 everyone and there mom is there they leave from there and go to different spots e-mail me if ya intrestead i know all the local spots. ITs alot of drivin if it gets busted but last weekend it was sawweet only got busted once at 3 o clock i was out till 5 in da mournin

I am leaving the 21st of February and will be probably be there Friday night(22nd). I'm staying until March 2nd.

We live in a large state here, where exactly in Florida? There is no way you can hit all the spots in one Sat. night....unless u have a really fast car and no cops are anywhere in sight.

I am going to be near tampa for the first couple of days then the rest of the week and part of the weekend on the other coast probably near daytona. We really don't have any specific plans so we can go anywhere.
