Rep Power: 410 you've got to work on making sure none of the highlights blow out, but none of the darks become shadows.

not bad for using a point and shoot. i like the shoes, very nice on using your skirt for a back ground never would of thought it was a skirt.

I just went for a walk to the park that is literally behind my back yard. Behind my yard are 6 soccer fields, and to the side of them a nice park. I took about 120 pics, but these are 3 nice ones that don't look crappy when resized (like a lot of them did)

Rep Power: 311 Does Olympus make good cameras? Or are they pieces of junk?
I just bought a Nikon D50 for my dad and I was messing around with it the other day and I really liked it. I never used an DSLR camera before and the D50 blew me away. Anyway, since then I have been looking at different DSLR's and I saw this Olympus Evolt E-500 8MP that came with two lenses for around $750 after rebate. Not bad considering you get two lenses for the price. I don't know too much about Olympus though. I know it can't compare with Nikon, or Canon, but is it still a good camera?

im sure that they make fine cameras but i wouldnt go with one. i have a nikon d100 and canon rebel xt and a canon rebel gII 35mm, and wouldnt go with any one else. but thats because i do it more then just hobby photography. if you want to start getting into photography look for a used canon d30 or a d60 there older cameras but still very good camera's and you can find one on ebay for about 300-400.
