As of now are there any cold ait intakes for an automatic civic ex 2001. I checked the parts page, but im still not to clear on which intakes are for which car. So if anyone has one let me know thanks

For Ex(auto), your options are... Aem Sri, injen cai/sri, dc sports sri(maybe the cai too.

Injen CAI...that's what i have and please do a search next..it doesn't bother me but it's bothers some people..

Hum... The basic answer is that AEM makes a CAI and a SRI and the CAI is only for a manual. That's because they tested a CAI and an SRI on an automatic and the SRI performed better. Other intakes are probably similiar. If you have an automatic then get a shorter intake. Get the Injen IS. Maybe an IceMan, if they make one for your car. I dunno. Check out the parts section.

I have an Injen CAI on my LX auto. It sounds really good and there is a noticeable kick once you pass 3000rpm. It is really funny to see the huge pile of stock stuff i pulled out to put it in. Lots of room now.

only injen has a cold air system for automatics. this is the only system that actually fits.
