If you do it and need help pulling the hub, I've been there and done that.

You can check part availability online (although it doesnt work in my browser, I'm using chrome with pop up blocker)- http://www.autoadventure.net/
Yeah, I know the Type S rears will work...The only problem is people put the Type S tax on parts. Would rather find a base model and get it all in one shot and hope to get a bulk discount

Re: Portland

so you just need a base line rsx front and rear axel and probably some other parts too that I'm not sure about like brakes and such probably. If that's what you guys are looking for I can look and keep an eye out. I've seen several rsx's getting parted out on CL and sometimes up in the WA area

SO WOW... I havent been able to sign into my account for the past week and some change! Thank someone that reinstalled vbplaza... apparently my account and a few others are the only ones that get effected because of a bad plugin that it reacts with... so anyways, I'm back mf'ers!

I need a gauge cluster asap... I'm looking for one thats 01-02 style, coupe (if that matters on the old ones) LX... manual trans. I need it to have around 75k or so... I need to go and pass emissions and I dont want them to record a lower mileage then last time!!! (I did 03-05 cluster swap) Anyone got one hanging around (honder??) ARL? My emissions needs to be done by August 10th!!

Non critical parts:
I'm also looking for an LX cpupe headliner in beige and the visors... I have stripped down ones that are ready for customization- I had a red suede headliner back in the day. I can even help you do whatever ya wanna do.

Sorry dude, Sold my 01-02 cluster last year. Why do you need a different one? Just because of the mileage? If you need to borrow my 03-05 cluster, I'm cool with it. It just rolled over to 90K

umm.... so when you have to go back to get an emissions test done you have to show them your mileage? Didn't think that it'd matter to them lol

Re: Portland

well you could just pay to get it flashed to the right mileage so you wont really have to worry about it ever I guess. or just buy another cluster with something close to your mileage?

Re: Portland

Yeah, I've been all over ebay searching 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005... even 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, lol... I've got a few possibilities of clusters with close mileages, but they are ALL auto. Most of the sellers are too lazy to figure out the mileage before they pull them...

You know all those postings on CL with the guy saying hes parting out several 01-05 civics? Well, I called him to see what hes got- hes hitting me back up in a half hour.

I even hit a dude up on CL up by seattle a few mins ago.

I'm relentless. I'll find this damn thing sooner or later.

AS for getting it reflashed/reprogrammed to correct mileage, I think they take your vin and it gets recorded... I'll have to find out- all I know is it costs around 150.. so if I find a cluster for cheaper, I'll be better off.

Damn, local John guy wants 100 bucks for the old school style cluster... seems like a rip when you can get it for 60 bucks shipped off ebay.

...40 bucks for both visors. *rolls eyes* which are 26 brand new from majestic... fucking a. I refuse to pay 100, but shit...

Re: Portland

I think you are being paranoid. Waaaaaaaaaaay paranoid. They didn't say shit to me about a cluster swap. Why would they be checking for that anyways? When i got DEQ done, I can for sure say they didn't have a picture book they whipped out and compared what clusters should be in what car. If you find any 01-05 cluster that has around the same mileage you want, and is manual you should be fine. They didn't even check mine, they asked me how many miles it had on it.

Re: Portland

Yeah, your right. They wont whip a book out- I was thinking down the line for when I sell. But whatevz, fuck it- they can have an upgraded dope looking cluster. All the clusters on ebay are auto though. Blah. Fine, any manual cluster will do as long it has somewhere between 75-85k. And fuck john from CL. I'll have to see what other clusters he has that are manual *sigh*

Preference order:
1) Old 2 door style that lights up red
2) Newer 2 door style with red rings
3) Newer 4 door style with blue rings.
