I'm just wondering if there would be any problems
With me installing a ex cluster. Cuz I have a cx cluster
Now. Or would it be eazyier to install a seperate
Rmp meter. Any suggestions ?? Would be

usually clusters from the same year should swap. cars without tach almost always have the rpm wire already in the harness.

Did all the indicator lamps and gauges work when you swapped out the cluster? Any issues? I'm wanting to swap out my DX's cluster with an automatic's cluster for the tachometer.

Not same animal but I have changed out two SR5 6 cylinder tac dash into my 4x4 Tacoma's 4 cylinders and they always seem to work fine. Not sure where it gets that tac imput but somehow it knows it's a 4 cylinder (I think??HA idle rpm matches spec..
