Radio and Clock Settings Won't Save

I have a 1993 Civic EX and for some reason my settings on my radio won't save and my in-dash clock won't stay set. Every time I come back to my car after turning it off for more than 5 minutes all my settings are gone, what could be causing this?

Also, since this forum seems to be the appropriate place to ask, my gauge cluster lights aren't working. The Check Engine, ABS, etc. lights do, but my speedometer, tach, and other gauges aren't, what could be the problem here?

are your battery cables tight enough? could be a fuse for the lights.

Make sure the white/blue wire is tied in to the proper wire on your in dash's wiring harness. The white/blue is your car's 12V+ Constant. It should probably be tied into a red or yellow wire on your head unit's wiring harness. Make sure though.

Yes, make sure the constant voltage is correctly connected and present.

For the dash lamps try moving the dimmer **** back and forth and see if they flicker or try to work. Pull the dimmer assy and see if voltage is present when the lights are on.

I think the dimmers were a common issue on the 6th gens ??

Re: Radio and Clock Settings Won't Save

you have two fuse boxes, one near the battery and the other under the dash by the brake pedal.
