bucking problem

Re: bucking problem
It could be many things.
Just to rule out clutch transmission issues it is an auto right?
Start off with the dummy checks
-battery connection is tight, no corrosion, wires are connected to terminals.
-major ground points, engine, transmission, head.
-scan for codes
-fuses (sometimes there is a small break which will let current flow, but not properly check them all with a multimeter for resistance).
-relays.
After this you will need to check the fuel an ignition system.
-fuel pressure (test with gauge and if possible while driving)
-ignition pulse (injector signal)
-spark

First off do the following:
Replace the fuel filter. Probably it is original or at least 10 years old.
Once done, slightly undo the bleeder bolt on the feed side of the filter and crank the car. You should see fuel spray.
If you see fuel, then look at replacing the fuel pressure regulator as chances are that is also partially clogged as well.
Then see if the car starts and keeps running.
Do these first.
Another thing to look at is a bad solder joints on your main relay as well..
