I've got a 91' civic hatch. Has a 1.5 motor in it. I'm leaking coolant pretty bad. Some exits from a rubber tube that connects to the intake manifold and the passenger side of the intake manifold. The rest is ending up in my oil. My oil doesnt seem milky but upon draining it is clearly mixed with coolant.
I first realized the issue when I checked my oil level and noticed it was a quart over. Since then it will occasionally pour white smoke out the exhaust. Tends to only do it on a warm start up. (I.e. Driving a while and turn it off. Then start it back up again).
where would be the most likely spot for the coolant to be getting into my oil in such a large quantity and cause the intermittent smoking? Oil does not seem to be getting into the cooling system.

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Head gasket breach is my first guess, if not something worse.

Theres at least a dozen different ways a head gasket can fail.
Compression test won't prove or disprove anything but compression issues.
If you are losing coolant, pressure test the cooling system to find out where the liquid is going. It's getting into the crankcase you already know, how about seeing coolant getting in the cylinders.....
