Is there any thing you can add to free up a valve that is stuck in open position, tried seafoam thru tbi and gum out thru tbi, but its still stuck open
figure it carbon build up on the valves sealing surface. it anything that will fix this short of a valve job?

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one
Re: stuck valves
Depends on what the cause is.
Valve adjustment too tight causing valve to not close? Easy, as long as the valve hasn't burned already.
If carbon wedged between the stem and guide, you may not get it to close freely without a valve job.
If varnished fuel caused it to stick open (binding in the guides), solvents might help.
If a carbon lump is stuck between the valve face and valve seat, combustion chamber cleaner procedures may help.....as long as it hasn't run long enough to cause damage to the surfaces (flame cutting happens quick in a running engine). Maybe rotating the valve could help 'grind' the carbon up if you know how to do that without taking the head off.
I've heard easy-off oven cleaner works good on removing carbon, but I've never tried it. Fill that cylinder full enough to keep the valves soaking in it? I'd expect you would have to manipulate the valve in question to get cleaner all over and work out the offending chunk.
Also.....if a valve was wedged open far enough it may have gotten bent when the piston came up.

Re: stuck valves
Pretty likely to have burned a valve, they do that from time to time.
Leakdown test to prove it first? Borescope in the ports?
Rip that head off and see?
