99 Hodan Civic DX Wont go into gear HEy all,
I replaced the clutch on my honda. When I dropped the tranny I opened up the bell transmission and sealed it up with permatex tasked. After rebuilding the clutch. When I started the car it wont go into 1, and 2nd gear. However it does go into 3,4, and 5th as well as reverse. Any ideas. Please help.

got the same problem in my 97 honda dx, replaced the clutch and plunger on the slave and had the flywheeel resurfaced. Drove great but about 100 miles later, very hard shifting into 1st and reverse from a stand still. Ive been told to replace the master cyclinder on the firewall. So thats what i will be doing saturday.
