Rep Power: 0 Left Turn Signal Doesnt Blink
97 Civic Ex Coupe.
My hazards work properly
My Right turn signal works properly
When i turn on my left turn signal it works until i step on the brakes. When i step on the brakes my left turn signal stops blinking and just stays dimly lit. On my dash the left signal just stays dimly lit and doesnt blink unless i left of the brakes.
I don't even have to turn my turn signal on, and when i still step on the brakes it still lights up.
Someone Help!

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one
Re: Left Turn Signal Doesnt Blink
I'd SWAG you have a ground problem in the Left Rear lights.

Re: Left Turn Signal Doesnt Blink
Um, voltage drop check the grounds for the lights?
Use a jumper wire attached to a good ground point, touch each of the bulb bases with it and note any differences in operation?
Follow a wire diagram and test?
It is tough to explain how I think about and test electrical problems to another person that IS familiar with electricity.
It is almost impossible for me to explain this to a non-technical person.
If you don't have a good grasp of electricity, maybe you should have someone check it that does.
