Rep Power: 0 Low idle and cut off Honda CIVIC B20 turbo with diktator
Hi Guys
i am new to this forum and hoping to trade information about Honda Civics. I currently have a 98 model Honda civic with a b20 stock internals with a t3/t4 turbo which is running on a diktator management system. I have noticed that when i start the engine(cold) the car idles quite low and if i rev the car a bit, it then switches off. However after driving the car for until it warms up it then idles very high (2000rpm), Could this be the management system that needs to be reset? Please advise if you can, Thank you
Regards
Jaryn

Hi, I have found the problem, the setting on the diktator management system are way off due to the been standing for so long and the battery dying half the time. A simple tuning fixed everything and 147 wkw at 0.4 bar is awesome.

Do you think that it could be the fast idle thermal valve that needs to be adjusted? I think i would give that a try and revert when i know the outcome. Also i tuned the car in the past week. Turns out that the ECU settings were way out so that is sorted now. Car makes 253hp at the front wheels, I was advised that if i change the internals i can gain a lot more boost out of it. Anyone know the cost to import conrods and pistons from the states to South africa?

Hi Guys, I need some advice. I was thinking of mating a b20b block with b16 vtec head and turbo charding it. Will the block handle the turbo and vtec working? or will i need to upgrade the rods and pistons as well the sleeves? I currently have a b20b motor with a bolt on turbo
