Use A/C button to power relay for hobby device

Hey guys,
I have a 1999 Civic DX, didn't come with A.C. I have train horns and the air valve is electronic, so once it gets 12v, the valve pops open and ~152dB of bassy hornage comes out of the front bumper. This happens often because I'm a very horny guy.
Anyway, I have had it wired like this; positive to the battery, negative to a male cigarette lighter in the cabin. I just touch the male plug to the ground of my lighter and the valve opens until I stop the contact.

But I want to use the blank button in between the recirculate and rear defrost buttons to make the connection. (AC button in upper Civic models)
I can't press the button in at all.
Is it possible to wire something to it, is there a switch behind this button or would I have to do some serious hacking for this to work?

Thanks, and if you could show which screws it takes to take off the front panel, that's be cool, although I think I'll figure it out myself in about 5 minutes of trying. Probably a screw below the panel but above the cigarrette lighter..

Thanks

EDIT: Thanks to another thread, found this guide for taking a part the dash; http://www.installdr.com/installdocs...PDF/466005.asp
