Pudnite

I just bought some new 15" x 6.5" wheels for my '97 civic and saw that the most common tire is a 195/55r15 v tire. 185/55r15 seems to be cheaper but if I wanted a little of a stretch, not anything crazy just so it's a nice clean noticable and safe stretch was size should I go down to? I also have 1.5" lowering springs I'm going to install after I put on the new wheels!
