Cam Seal question

Hello - I have the timing belt off and am ready to take off the Cam gear to get to the seal. since I already have the timing belt and the crankshaft pulley already off, how can I remove the cam gear bolt without rotating the gear and throwing the timing off?
thanks

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Re: Cam Seal question

How are you gonna torque it when you put it back together?

Put the timing belt back on?
Use a spanner in the cam gear?
Use a prybar or long screwdriver to hold the cam gear still? (put it between spokes and against the head surface)
