Car bogs down under load/ sputtering

Hey guys, I have a 99 Civic LX, automatic. About a week ago my car started acting up. It seems as if when we're driving around 2000 RPMs my car will sputter if you press the gas pedal whilet it's sputtering it seems like the motor/acceleration doesn't happen until you get the engine over 2k RPM. It almost feels delayed.

Now, my car seems fine when it's just been started but if you drive it a while it will start acting up. It also seems to drive without issue until you turn on the AC, then it jumps and sputters no matter what.

We have thusome far done this maintenance and whatnot to it:

-Water pump + timing belt 180k
-New plugs and wires at 195k
-New distributor 3 days ago
-Cleaned throttle body 2 days ago

My car has 212k miles.

Any ideas or suggestions?

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Well, my boyfriend is a mechanic and had worked on cars quite a bit, we are headed back home from a road trip, I relayed what you said to him and he he said it isn't throwing any misfire codes. We did have it at a friend's shop and hooked it up to the OBDII.

Yes, it was. He's pretty baffled by this because we've tried a few things like testing the TPS with a multimeter and it read good, cleaned the Throttle Body and Idle Control Valve, as well, but still having the same issues.

Edit: replacing the distributor was part of troubleshooting
