Cool New to Civics

Base of the story is..

Bought a 95 DX... GREAT condition but has some issues.

- Clutch doesnt release engage until the pedal is almost all the way released (Previous owner said its a new clutch)
- Shift linkage is WAY WAY loose
- Needs a good cleaning :P (Its a dirty bitch)
- Any sugestions as to where to start to make this handle better?

Its a first car for my Wife, And shes never driven standard. I figured this would be a great car to start with, and build up as she builds up.

thanks for the info!

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

This is usually how one acts when it has a worn out clutch..... Do you really want to believe the seller?

You might get to see just how new that clutch really was.

Shift linkage is WAY WAY loose
Get under it and see if the bushings are ate up between the bottom of the shifter and the shift rod. Or the stabilizer rod. Hell, get under it and look at all of it.
