Rep Power: 0 oil breather chamber
96 Civic Ex, auto, D16Y8 engine
I am trying to remove the oil breather chamber and clean it.
Anyone know how I can remove it? I removed the two 10mm bolts and the nut for the wiring harness bolted to it, and it now rotates but pulling it does not work. If I were to guess, either it is gunked up way too much inside or there is a hidden bolt somewhere?
Does it just have a tube with an o-ring that sticks into the block? I am not into using a lot of force.
Thanks for any help.

Re: oil breather chamber
My car is 7 years newer, so it's a bit different. I've heard of taking the PCV (positive crankcase ventilation, part 3 on the diagram) valve out for cleaning but never the chamber itself. According to that diagram it should just be those 2 bolts you mentioned, plus the PCV breather tube. It looks like the whole thing might screw in... have you tried turning the whole assembly a bunch of times and seeing if it gets loose?
