Rep Power: 0 98 civic dx d15b throttle problem or?
Ok so I just recently bought a 1998 civic dx with a jdm d15b vtec swap. The car runs fine starts right up and all that good stuff. But when I push the gas pedal and release it the pedal gets stuck and I have to wedge it out with my foot. This also happens when i start the car and pull the throttle latch to rev it. If I pull the throttle latch under the good and release it the car still revs and when I touch the throttle latch it goes back to normal rpms. I was told I needed the throttle cable from a 98 ex because the one I have currently is too long? Can anyone help to confirm my problem?!
