Rep Power: 0 Diagnostic help...2000 honda civic
Hi,
I'm hoping the users on this forum can help me to narrow down where to look for problems with my '00 civic...
It's been running fine up until today. I tried the ignition and the display lit up when I turned they key halfway but then power died when I tried to start; no starter, nothing. I popped the hood to see if a terminal came loose or there was something obvious but i didn't see anything. I got back in tried again and it started no problem. I then drove around stopped for a while and restarted again with no problem. I also notice now it's idling rough? (wasn't yesterday!)
Battery is a few years old and the terminals are new. timing belt, water pump, all fairly new. I was originally thinking alternator but that doesn't explain the rough idle all of a sudden.
Any help would be appreciated!
