I recently replaced a fuel injector and o2 sensor because i had a misfire in cylinder 2. Check engine light was on from that but was reset 2 days ago. Drove over 100 miles and yesterday while I was leaving work, check engine light came back on again. Went to autozone and had them pull the codes. It came up with no codes and the CEL is still on.
Any ideas?

New to the forum as im not a civic guy... but was using the search function trying to find a fix for a friends car, saw this and figured id piggyback on. Its a 2000 si b16a2 seems to be all stock. Seemingly starts fine, idles down with warm up correctly but does not drive well. All is good untill about 3500 when the tach rockets off to 8 grand and the motor maybe adds timing or something leaving it stuck at said rpm. cel is on and constant. He says he has had it to like 8 different places to get free obd2 codes read and they have all come back with nothing... even though the cel is on. Found info on jumpering the blue obd1 diagnostic lead in the passanger kick pannel and looking for a flashing cel while the ignition is in the on position, but it just stays solid. Found info on removing the 7.5a fuse under the hood for at least 3 min to reset the computer and found it was burned up. Thought replacing it would be a fix, put a new one and still can not get the jumper method to yeald a result... Told him run it in and have it obd2 checked again now that the fuse is replaced, see if now they come up with anything. Said take it to honda and pay if you have to.. But i digress, my questions are, how commonly do the autozone box's not read the stock computer; and what might the root of the 3500 rpm wall be? I think maybe tdc sensor or knock sensor? I will have to bring my timing light out and see what is going on advance-wize soon. Any help would be appriciated. oh and multi-meter says both the fuse and the lead down in the kick pannel get voltage, what gives here?
