Thumbs down wiring harness issue.. i think..

well about a month ago i bought another civic with a b18b swap and it runs like crap. I came to notice that it dosn't have a single o2 sensor when i believe that i should have 2, up stream and down stream. It is also missing the intake air temperature sensor. i really dont know where to begin or even know what to do with it. any help or advice would be greatly apprecitaed

Re: wiring harness issue.. i think..

You can add O2 sensors to existing exaust by drilling a hole where you want to add it, and then welding on a "bung" an internally threaded ring that the O2 can screw into.
If your car uses two, they are probably one before the cat and one after.

Re: wiring harness issue.. i think..

ahh, ok, i get it, so now what you gotta do is figure out what connections AT THE COMPUTER are needed, (time to whip out the haynes book) and see if they are there or if they are open holes in the connector, then trace back...

Re: wiring harness issue.. i think..

at the center console where your shifter is there should be a connector for the secondary o2 sensor, for dual cams or b series motor one sensor is right in the cat, and one at the headers whiches located at the end where it connects to the cat. i know single cam is right in front of the engine
