Hi guys,

First of all, I am new here and I would like to thank you guys for having such a nice community, I read a lot here before for different things and I always found what I was looking for.. until yesterday ..

I was coming back from Med school and everything was perfectly fine, until I started backing in my parking lot... I then saw a trail of oil leaking from my car. . So I parked and checked 2-3 minutes after, there was at least 2L on the ground .. soon after that the motor oil was empty.

This morning I lifted the car (Civic 2000 Dx) to check where it was leaking from ..

I found where it was leaking from, there's a hole right beside the extension rod ... The thing is that I have no idea if this hole is actually supposed to be there or not ?

I know for fact that my crankshaft oil seals should have been replaced like this autumn but I wanted to wait after winter to do so .. Could it be it ?

Anyway, I have uploaded a diagram with a Red dot on it so you guys can see where the hole is actually, and a picture I took this morning !!




if you guys could tell me anything about this, I would really appreciate it !!!
