What to buy?

I know I asked this before, but I'd like some more opinions......
Well my grandpa owns a store that sells, among other things, car audio equipment. Money is not quite an objective, but I still won't be getting anything for free. So I need some help as to what to get. I know he can get anything in the Crutchfield catalogue, and probably other stuff too. He sells a lot of Xplod stuff right now.

I've got a 2002 EX coupe, if that makes any difference.

Right now he's put in a 10" tube (Sentrek) in my trunk, that's enough for me cause I listen to rock, alternative, ska, punk; I don't need big boomy bass (maybe I'll get like one 12" or one 10" with an amp just for some cleaner sound, this tube rattles a little).

Anyways, here's the other stuff I want to get:

HU
Tweaters
Door speakers
Rear speakers

I know the door speakers are 6.5" and the rear speakers are 6x9, but what size are the tweeters? And the real question is what should I get? I know I should get component speakers, but which are good? Also, lots of people tell me I don't need 6x9s, but no one has told me why......... can anyone comment on this?

Thanks a lot!!!

Good question bob, the reason most people don't like rear fill is because it takes away from the front speakers. When you go to a concert the music is in front of you not around you. If money is not an option then get some nice 6x9's just fade them out when when no one is sitting in the back seats.

As far as what speakers if your just ordering from cruchfield, infinity the reference or kappa's are about the best (IMHO) that chuchfield sells the reference has a little better mid bass but but the kappa is much more accurate.

As far as sony, stay away from sony at all cost , speaking from experince.

From what I have hear Cruchfield will be selling alpine soon that's would look into.

Okay..the OEm tweeters are 3/4" tweeters in a 1" tweeter housing. SO any 1" tweeter will fit... It's much much better to get components instead..rear fill is optional pending your preferences.. Also don't shop at Cruthnuts.. it's a good info sourse..but prices are usually better at your local store..and you can find WAY WAY better prices at other relaible sites as well.

Cheers
