Rep Power: 0 Ported or Sealed sub box?
I have 2 10" rockford fosgate P3 in my 05 coupe. I have them in a sealed box rite now with a 1000w fosgate amp(2 channel 250rms). Should i leave them in this or try to make a slot ported box for them. Anyone have suggestions?

according to fosgate they prefer sealed box for the P3 subs what size box are they in right now? as long as you use the right specs per fosgates recomendations you are optimizing the sub output.

10's arent really big, it should be fine the way it is with ample power. If you want some extra bass get a bandpass box (I had one, seemed like it added some bass)

Different boxes provide different results, as always, keep to the specs provided by the audio company

Sealed, like stated before always go by specs from company. I have 2 10's in a 3cubicft net enclosure after sub and port and 45'd corners displacements.

^^ nice box
I got a 10'' fosgate P3 sub too but I got a vented box for it (1.47 cubic feet) and stuffed it with polyester fiber (http://www.crutchfield.com/p_027808/...ssi=0&tp=23128) since fosgate said 1.4 for the sub and it sounds freaking fantastic. Usually vented/ported boxes give more of a "boom" sealed boxes give a tighter bass.
