speakers

I have a friend selling his Focal speakers, he wants 150 for them and their pretty much new, their the acces series, 165 a1 model

this is the link to their page, http://www.focal-america.com/

on the page it says that does speakers cost 349 brand new. what do you think i should do?

i also want some 8 inch speakers in the back for some god midrange, a friend of mine has some beyma and their freaking awesome but i dont want to pay almost $200 for one speaker

what shoul i do?

The cheapest set on ebay is 219 brand new, so I'd say its a pretty good deal. I've never had any experience with Focal though.

focal is a good quality speaker but thats to much money for used speakers.

Anything used, you should never pay more than half price.
If you like the way they sound and the price is right for your budget, go for it.

Edit: Especially because you know the guy, you should know how those speakers have been treated (given enough power, not abused, etc)
