i guess they think we watch pornos on our dvd players thats why we need viagra. and for the comment for the flip out on the bottom the dash kit they make for the 04 civic is a all in one piece with the bin on the bottom.
thats pretty nice but i dont really think its worth the hassle of taking my unit out just to install th1t unless i get a separate head unit . i think it would still block the vents a little and the screen wouldn't be eye level anymore and it would block eccess to the pocket i mean the blocked vent really is not thqt big of a deal.
if i was to get that dash kit it would be for the double din radio that i have now. i wouldnt get it to put a flip out in the bottom. plus there is no bin to put in the top or bottom so i would have a empty hole.

Your stupid. Read everything I said. You can get a 1 din pocket to fill the gap. Why wouldnt you get it for a flip out? You wouldnt get it because...Huh? Because that 1 din pocket it bigger than stock? Because you wouldnt have the problem of the vents being covered? Im going to get a beer

umm you are stupid because if you would read more than one of the replys i dont have a flip out anymore.i know they sell more than one dash kit for every car. the link that you give is a dash kit for our civics but you have the option to cut out the middle for a double din radio like i have. i know they make different dash kits for our cars. i have a alpine iva-w205 flush mount screen. here is a picture below.i dont like the flip out because i paid 300 used from a friend and had to pay a local radio installing place 360 to change all the motorized parts so the screen could come out.i didnt say that there was only one dash kit, just said that it would be pointless to put it on the bottom.here is the radio i have and 2 of the dash kits for my civic.

for one i said it blocked the ac vents. i didnt care because down here in the south it gets hott and i would ride with the windows down and not use the ac. and for the real reason why i didnt like the flip outs is because the sun beams on the back of it when it is out and make it too hot to touch. thats why i didnt put it on the bottom and didnt like it on the top. i am not going to argue anymore about some stupid dash kit.and if you dont like alpine, thats your choice.
ps im curious to see a pic of the dash kit that you are talking about.
no one was complaining about the blocking we were just explaining the fact that it happens . its really not a big deal not big enough to go buy another dash kit and reinstall everything.

i just didnt like the fact that someone is gonna just out right call me stupid.if he wants to get a dash kit and put a flip out on the bottom thats him.im past the flip out deck days. i know with the kit that he showed you can put your radio on the bottom and mount it on the factory metal bracket that your factory radio mounts too.

I showed you the dash kit you can use to put a flip out screen on the bottom. Its the same one that you used to install the double din. You just dont cut the bar. The flip out or cd player can mount on the bottom of the bracket about the same as it does on the top. The 1 din pocket can be found on ebay if anyone is wondering. If anyone needs more info on how to do it, pm me.
